What We Believe
The right way of fixing the issues of the poor lies in empowering the poor in a right mix and fusion of economic and social empowerment, and the transformation in the lives of the poor shall not emerge or solely on charity or philanthropy, but per se, shall be blended with a fusion of Social Enterprise. This essentially keeps the dignity and self-respect of the poor, without compromising on them. The fusion of “Charity” and “Social Enterprise” should make a fine tilting balance, to yield finer results in the domain of enriching the living standards of the poor. Development should absorb both the charity and social business as the flip sides of the same coin. The Toque does precisely believe to provide that sort of platform and backbone support.
Our Vision
Through Toque, we aspire to empower the poor, marginalized and vulnerable communities, by making them to access the resources, opportunities, with a mix of philanthropic and social business initiatives, as part of our vision.
Our Mission
There is no such platter for right answers or solutions to the problems of the poor, and the only way out is to navigate logically such answers and solutions by exploring the alternative means and ways for solutions through selection by elimination method, through exploring “heuristic approach”.
