Donation Cancellation & Refund Policy
(a) Toque Aspiration foundation, Hyderabad (India), fondly referred to as “The Toque”, institutes a Donation Cancellation & Refund Policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations, keeping the best interests of Donors in mind, and also keeping digital payments in mind, as digital payments are mostly exercised and preferred by the Donors.
(b) The Toque Aspiration Foundation, Hyderabad or “The Toque” expects that all Donors will exercise due care and diligence while making donations. Nevertheless, the Toque takes into cognizance of the fact of the cases wherein donation has been made erroneously or donation would have been for some other causes or projects in the Toque, or the cases wherein Donor might have changed his mind after making donations to the Toque, for whatever reasons or grounds, which are subject to further scrutiny and examination by the Toque.
(c) For all such cases of refund, the Toque gives a fair option for the Donors to send their request to the Toque, for the cancellation and refund of the donation, in case they change their mind after making donations, for whatever reasons. While sending their request for cancellation of the donation, the Donors should clearly mention the reasons, or grounds on which the refund and cancellation are sought, along with supportive documents as mentioned in this document.
(d) Based on the requests for refund from the Donors, the Toque will examine and scrutinize the reasons, grounds on which the Donor has sought for cancellation and refund. The Toque may also seek further information / documents and the Donor must cooperate in this regard.
(e) After the assessment on the scrutiny and examination of the cancellation and refund request, the Toque may take its own decision to accept the request for refund, or in its discretion may decline the request for refund, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued, or particularly if the donation has been utilized for the projects or programs of the Toque, while things stood so.
(f) All decisions of The Toque made with regard to acceptance or decline of the request for refund shall be final and binding on the donor.
(g) To ensure fairness, the Toque would like the Donor to make a request in writing or by email for a refund, and his (Donor) request must reach within fifteen (15) days, from the date on which he (Donor) made the donation, with full particulars, viz : (i) means of the donation, whether on-line, electronically, or through other means, or handed over the Cheque / Demand Draft to someone authorized by the Toque, or dispatched the Cheque / Demand Draft by the post or courier service, or by other means, (ii) Cheque / Demand Draft Number, Date, Amount of Donation (iii) Credit / Debit Card Number (last 4 digits only), in case donation was made through credit card or debit card, (vi) Donation ID or Proof of any Unified Payment Instrument (UPI) methods, or any electronic methods used for donation.
(h) Donor shall bear the charges of processing for refund, and the rate of processing charges shall be as per the discretion of the Toque. All the decisions made with regard to processing charges shall be binding on the Donor.
